Job summary

IU Health LifeLine supervisor in Muncie, IN leads a 24/7 transport operations team under the Manager-LifeLine. The role owns staffing, coaching, and staff recognition while maintaining clinical credentials and ensuring a safe environment for patients, families, and teammates.

Responsibilities include coordinating payroll, supplies, facility and asset needs, and engaging in employee relations and outreach training across the base(s) in the North Region.

Qualifications

• Must hold current paramedic licensure and certifications.
• 3–5 years of relevant supervisory or clinical leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Education defined within clinical scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, rounding, and coaching for LifeLine team members.
• Support payroll, supplies, facility, and asset needs for assigned bases.
• Partner in employee relations and team member engagement initiatives.
• Maintain clinical credentialing and safe patient/family environment within scope of practice.
• Travel within the North Region and base(s) Muncie, IN as required.

Overview

Full Time Nights, Supports North Region

The Supervisor-LifeLine holds a supervisory leadership position within LifeLine. Under the direction of the Manager-LifeLine, has 24/7 responsibility for the execution of specific duties related to the assigned base(s) area of operations. This supervisor will support payroll, supplies, facility, and asset needs in support of their assigned team(s) and Manager-LifeLine. They will partner in employee relations, team member engagement, and key customer relationships to include outreach training. The supervisor will own staffing, team member recognition, rounding, and coaching for their assigned team members. They must maintain clinical credentialing and actively staff within their scope of practice in support of clinical operations at their assigned base(s). This supervisor is responsible for promoting and ensuring a safe environment for patients and their families, team members, and customers whom with the transport team interacts. They will serve as a champion for the IU Health Values and maintain constant focus on providing exceptional team member experience and support.

A valid driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record report may be required for this role. Consideration of employment for this role may be contingent upon the results of the Motor Vehicle Record report. This position will primarily be based out of Muncie, IN with travel within the North Region.

• High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate's Degree is preferred.
• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Must hold current paramedic licensure, certifications and maintain education requirements as defined within clinical scope of practice to meet requirements of paramedic licensure.
