Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston in Chelsea, MA is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain a safe swimming environment, enforce pool rules, and respond to emergencies. The role requires strong critical thinking and the ability to work with youth and families. You will report to the Aquatics Program Manager and participate in swim lessons, safety drills, and program activities, with a focus on inclusion and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Experience as a Lifeguard and current lifeguard certifications.
• Ability to enforce pool rules and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment and enforce safety regulations.
• Observe swimmers to prevent accidents and assist in rescues.
• Administer first aid and CPR as needed.
• Assist with swim lessons and program activities.
