**Job Description**

The Lifeguard II ensures the safety of patrons at our aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Welcome and accommodate guests and staff in an effective and courteous manner. Handle customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.

**COMPENSATION:** The hourly rate for this position is $17.95. This is Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Maintain constant surveillance of patrons; act immediately to secure safety in emergencies.
2. Follow property specific rules.
3. Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrives.
4. Perform maintenance duties to keep the facility clean and safe.
5. Prepare and maintain activity reports.
6. Participate in Quality Assurance programs, including inspections and reviews.
7. Communicate with all departments for a seamless guest experience.
8. Manage guest flow in the pool area and collect payments as necessary.
9. Develop skills and adapt to changing job duties as needed.
10. Display understanding of emergency procedures after training.

**Qualifications**

• Knowledge of chemical machines, pool equipment, and First Aid equipment.
• Current Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Relevant educational background as required by the role.
