Job summary

Orange City Schools is seeking certified Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors to work flexible, part-time hours throughout the year. This position ensures the safety of participants during aquatic programs and provides instruction in accordance with established safety standards and protocols.

The role requires current Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications, plus Concussion Law and Lindsay's Law where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid through the American Red Cross.
• Concussion Law Certification and Lindsay's Law (Sudden Cardiac Arrest) Certification.
• Ability to pass a required background check.
• Physically capable of performing all required safety, rescue, and emergency response procedures.
• Valid driver's license.
