Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor is hiring lifeguards to provide vigilant surveillance and quick, safe responses to emergencies. You will work with a team to enforce water park rules, assist guests, and maintain a clean, safe environment across the water attractions and wave pools.

Candidates must hold a valid Shallow Water Lifeguard certification, swim 50 yards, and pass all rescue skills. The role requires outdoor work in varying weather, long shifts, and excellent communication with

Qualificações

• Requires Shallow Water Lifeguard certification.
• Must swim 50 yards non-stop.
• Must retrieve a 10 lb brick from 5 ft of water.
• Must be able to swim underwater for 10 ft.
• Must maintain rescue skills and complete in-service training.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to emergencies professionally and efficiently as part of a team.
• Provide guest service with a positive attitude.
• Enforce rider rules and safety requirements.
• Deliver announcements and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Stand and move in water 0–6 ft depth for extended periods.
• Attend ongoing in-service training and stay test-ready.
