Job summary

Six Flags Over Georgia is hiring for lifeguard roles at our water attractions. You will monitor swimmers, respond as a first responder, assist guests in and out of rafts, and manage ride dispatch intervals to ensure safety and a great guest experience.

Strong verbal communication and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays are essential; must be 15+ and able to swim 200 yards. Certification eligibility may require age 18+ for certain facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years or older.
• Must be able to swim 200 yards in 15 minutes.
• Tread water for two minutes.
• Must be 18 years or older to earn the Special Facilities Certification.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule to work nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep a close eye on swimmers in the wave pool, and other water attractions.
• Act as a first responder and jump in the water to keep guests safe.
• Assist guests in and out of rafts and cycle through the line efficiently.
• Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders.
• Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience.
• Keep ride patios and midways clean and looking great.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years or older


• Must be able to swim 200 yards in 15 minutes, retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom of a pool, tread water for two minutes, and lift yourself out of the pool
