Job summary

Six Flags Over Georgia is hiring for a lifeguard role responsible for water attraction safety and guest assistance. You will monitor swimmers, assist guests in and out of rafts, and ensure clean, safe surroundings across wave pools and attractions.

This position emphasizes strong verbal communication and quick response in emergencies. The role requires the ability to swim well, stand for long periods, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep a close eye on swimmers in the wave pool and water attractions.
• Act as a first responder and jump in the water to keep guests safe.
• Assist guests in and out of rafts and manage line flow efficiently.
• Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders.
• Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience.
• Keep ride patios and midways clean and presentable.

• Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders


• Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience


• Keep ride patios and midways clean and looking great

Payrate

$13.50-$15.50/hr

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years or older


• Must be able to swim 200 yards in 15 minutes, retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom of a pool, tread water for two minutes, and lift yourself out of the pool
