Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Pass a pre-employment swim test.
• Must possess CPR and Lifeguarding certification from a recognized agency within 6 months from hire date.
• Complete quarterly in-service training.
• Commit to working at least one shift per week for a minimum of 6 months.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a safe swimming environment by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
• Monitor patrons and activities, identify safety concerns, and take action to prevent accidents.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, administer first aid and CPR.
• Report accidents to Aquatics Supervisory staff and complete incident reports as directed.
• Teach swim lessons to all levels and age groups per objectives and policies.
• Maintain accurate written records of student progress and participate in in-service training.
