Our Wellness Center has an exciting opportunity for a Lifeguard. As a Lifeguard in Sentry’s Wellness Center, you will play a critical role in providing health and wellness services to Sentry Insurance associates. The Wellness Center operates before, during, and after regular hours and can be tailored to a student’s schedule. We are specifically looking for availability between 5:30-9 AM Monday-Friday, and 3-7 PM Monday-Thursday for instructing swim lessons and other lifeguarding duties as needed.

Competitive compensation starting at $14.50/hour with a $100 sign-on bonus for new hires!

What You’ll Do

• Perform lifeguard duties and assist others with water safety & techniques
• Assist in First Aid and CPR administration
• Occasionally staff the front desk
• Perform administrative tasks such as greeting members, answering phones, ensuring rule compliance, and guiding participants
• Perform routine cleaning on the fitness floor and pool
• Monitor safety and security of the Wellness Center
• Instruct swim lessons and pool programming
• Promote fitness programs
