Lifeguard (Seasonal/ Summer) - Camp Thunderbird YMCA

Join us as a Lifeguard (Seasonal/ Summer) - Camp Thunderbird YMCA at YMCA of Greater Richmond.

Position Details

We are seeking enthusiastic community members to ensure the safety of patrons at our pool this summer. The position is part-time and seasonal, starting at $14.00 per hour, with up to 40 hours per week during the summer months. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in certification; training is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of members and program participants at the pool.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current CPR, AED, First Aid, and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
• Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred but not required.

Interested candidates who do not have certifications but meet basic swim requirements can be trained on-site.
