Job Description

As a Lifeguard, you will:

1. Ensure the safety of all guests by maintaining constant surveillance, continuously scanning the pool or water park area, and monitoring guests for signs of distress or unsafe behavior.
2. Render emergency care and, if necessary, contact emergency medical services to ensure prompt and appropriate assistance for guests in need.
3. Maintain the cleanliness of the pool and water park areas to create a pleasant and sanitary environment for the guests.
4. Maintain detailed activity reports to document incidents, observations, and any actions taken during the shift.
5. Attend scheduled in-service training to stay updated on the latest safety protocols and guidelines.
6. Be a team player and assist your colleagues with their duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Expert swimmer in excellent physical condition, able to react quickly in emergency situations.
• Preferred certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED.
• Strong ability to recognize unsafe and hazardous situations and react properly.
• Must participate in regular in-water trainings and swim daily.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and over 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work in wet, humid, outdoor conditions, and tolerate extreme heat and sun exposure.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the U.S.
