Job summary

Ben Lomond & Ogden High Pools in Ogden, Utah seeks a Lifeguard to safeguard swimmers at both school pools. You must hold current or pending Red Cross or Star Guard lifeguard certification and be at least 14 years old if student.

Under supervision of the Pool Manager, you will monitor patron safety, enforce pool rules, document incidents, test water, and help with setup and cleanup. This is a part-time, school-year position with in-service trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be a student and at least 14 years old.
• Must hold a current or pending Red Cross or Star Guard lifeguard certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patron surveillance and enforce pool rules.
• Respond to emergencies and complete injury/rescue reports.
• Set up facility, test water, maintain cleanliness.
• Attend in-service trainings and staff meetings.
