Job summary

Ventfitness is seeking a Lifeguard in Latham, NY to ensure member and guest safety at pools and adjacent areas. You will supervise swimmers, perform life-saving measures when needed, and assist with pool and equipment maintenance.

The role requires CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire and current Lifeguard certification from a recognized organization, plus excellent interpersonal communication skills for positive guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety in the pools and surrounding pool areas.
• Provide supervision and take life saving measures when necessary for members and guests in the pool and surrounding areas.
• Participate in maintenance of the pool, exercise equipment and emergency equipment.
• Be flexible with business hours and schedules.
• Meet all safety requirements and certifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and communicate with EMS.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
