Job summary

The Granite YMCA in Goffstown, NH is seeking part-time Lifeguards to join their vibrant aquatics team. This position offers flexible shifts throughout the week, providing an excellent opportunity to gain leadership experience while contributing to a healthy community.

Qualifications

• Must hold certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen.
• Ability to stay alert and act calmly in high-pressure situations.
• Must meet physical requirements of lifeguarding, including swimming and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool area to ensure a safe and positive environment for all swimmers.
• Enforce all pool rules and safety procedures.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and perform water rescues as needed.
• Complete safety checks and maintain accurate incident reports.
• Attend required staff trainings and in-service sessions.
