Job summary

Emler Swim School is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for swimmers of all ages. You will monitor activities, enforce rules, and assist with safety instruction while supporting instructors and families in a fast-paced pool environment.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification (Red Cross or equivalent) required.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong swimming and rescue skills essential.
• Ability to stay aware and act quickly in emergencies.
• Friendly, safety-focused, team player with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Enforce pool rules and respond swiftly to emergencies.
• Perform rescues, administer first aid, and use CPR/AED as needed.
• Conduct safety checks and report hazards or maintenance needs.
• Support swim instructors and educate swimmers on water safety.
• Keep the pool area clean and hazard-free.
• Participate in safety drills and training.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety oversight.
• Assist with events and swim programs as needed.
