Job summary

Life Time in Bridgewater, MA is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to ensure safety and deliver excellent member service across indoor and outdoor pools. You will monitor pool decks, assist with events, and support water-slide safety in a fast-paced club environment.

The role emphasizes swimming ability, certifications in lifesaving and first aid, and strong communication with guests. Competitive hourly pay and full Life Time benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or in progress.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR and First Aid certifications (or bridging to StarGuard when current expires).
• Ability to stand stationary and move about the club for extended periods.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping and to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick and surface with it.
• Capable of lifting more than 20 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with Members.
• Rescue swimmers in danger and administer first aid when needed.
• Warn swimmers about hazardous areas and activities.
• Keep the pool area clean and orderly to ensure member safety.
