Job summary

A community-focused non-profit organization is hiring a Lifeguard in Millbrook, Alabama. In this part-time entry-level role, you will create a safe environment for all swimmers while maintaining safety protocols and performing regular pool checks. Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16.
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent required.
• Child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Maintains active surveillance of the pool area.
• Knows and reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations.
• Performs chemical testing when not guarding.
