Become a licensed Lifeguard and come make a splash on the island! All American Red Cross Trainings included after passing swim test prerequisite and hired for one of our Lifeguard roles!

Aquatic Attraction Guard:

Total compensation with incentive $14.50 per hour. Base rate $13.00 per hour + earn an additional $1.50 an hour if you work 16 or more hours each pay week! Pay incentive starts 01/6/2025 through 06/04/2025.

Lifeguard:

Total compensation with incentive $16.50 per hour. Base rate $15.25 per hour + earn an additional $1.25 an hour if you work 16 or more hours each pay week! Pay incentive starts 01/6/2025 through 06/04/2025.

What you get to do:

Roll up your sleeves (if you have sleeves) and play a key role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable guest experience. In addition to monitoring swimming areas and helping guests in distress, you’ll greet and interact with guests, answer questions, and resolve guest issues. You will:

• Interact with guests while implementing park safety guidelines
• Warn guests of dangerous water activities
• Prevent and respond to guest emergencies
• Administer first aid
• Participate in scheduled in-service training and regular audits
• Be proficient in park knowledge, water rescue, CPR/AED, and First Aid Skills
• Monitor all park waterways and respond to guests in distress
• Maintain the cleanliness of your area
• Participate in American Red Cross and company audit processes
• Attend in-service meetings and cross-train to work in other park areas
• Practice safe work habits, including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

What it takes to succeed:

• At least 18 years old
• Must successfully pass pre-requisite swim test
• Must successfully pass the company provided and paid American Red Cross CPR/AED
• Must successfully pass one of the following lifeguarding certifications: Aquatic Attraction Attendant (0-3ft), Shallow Water Lifeguard (0–5 ft), Deep Water Lifeguard (5ft plus)
• You must pass regular swim tests and in-service/safety audits
• You must be comfortable in and around water
• You must be comfortable with heights (high tower slides)
• You must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Exceptional communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills are essential
