Classification Title Temporary Hourly Professional FLSA Non-Exempt UGA Job Code FTE .49 Minimum Qualifications Position Summary This is an “as needed” position responsible for monitoring the safety and wellbeing of guests as they use the pools at Rock Eagle.
Certified lifeguard and first aid training through American Red Cross - not required, will provide training.
Physical Demands - Complete 350-yard continuous swim into 2 minutes of treading water using only legs, followed by a 200-yard continuous swim. Retrieve ten-pound lifeguard brick from 7-foot depth and swim it back to pool’s edge. Retrieve 3 rings from 4-7 foot depth in one breath.
