The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands Division, is recruiting to fill a Seasonal Full Time Lifeguard position (11 weeks) located at Range Pond State Park, Poland, Maine.
This is protective services work at state park beaches with responsibility for the protection and safety of visitors at the swimming facilities. An important feature of this work is recognizing potential dangers and hazards that an individual may be placed in and correcting the situation to prevent an accident or drowning. Work is performed under immediate supervision with the incumbent applying clear rules and guidelines independently.
