The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, is looking for a Lifeguard – Pool Operator for our North Mabee Youth Center located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Job Summary:
Serve as lifeguard for all pool operations; provide constant surveillance of pool activities. Maintains the cleanliness of the pool water, tests pool’s water pH level, chlorine level, and bromine level.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience:
Complete the required training to be a certified lifeguard AND six months experience as a lifeguard OR any equivalent demonstration of training or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs).
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an indoor pool environment where there may be physical discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, heat, humidity, and the like.
