Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and able to obtain a work permit if under 18.
• Be able to work a minimum of 1 day a week with weekend/holiday availability.
• Reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and able to interact with the public.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must obtain and maintain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification.
• Swimming proficiency and comfort in the water.

Responsibilities

• Supervises swimming activities and enforces safety policies.
• Advises swimmers on dangers and enforces pool rules.
• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid when necessary.
• Work independently and stay focused for extended periods.
• Evaluate conditions for safety and activate emergency actions when needed.
• Complete daily opening/closing procedure checklists.
• Inspect pool facilities, equipment and water for safety.
