Join to apply for the Lifeguard - Opening CREW - 20th Ave role at Oshkosh Community YMCA

Staff are needed during the weekdays from 5:15-9am, 2-3 days a week.

Brief Description

Lifeguards keep patrons safe by preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies. They interact with patrons of all ages in aquatic safety and education. Shifts are available from 5am-8pm Monday through Friday, 7:45am-4pm on Saturdays, and 8am-12pm on Sundays, plus other special event hours as needed. Staff typically work 5-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling around school and other jobs.

Certification is required to work as a lifeguard, but if you don't have a current one, we can train you for FREE. We can also train and certify you to teach swim lessons. Bring a strong swimming ability, a desire to work with people of all ages, and good customer service skills.
