The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands Division, is recruiting for a Seasonal Full Time Lifeguard position at Peaks-Kenny State Park, Dover Foxcroft, ME.
This role involves protective services work at state park beaches, ensuring the safety of visitors at swimming facilities. Responsibilities include recognizing potential dangers and hazards, and intervening to prevent accidents or drownings. Work is performed under immediate supervision, with clear rules and guidelines, but requires independent judgment in applying them.

Possession of current Lifeguard Certification, CPR Certification, and First Aid Certification, plus successful completion of the Lifeguard Academy. These must be obtained before attaining permanent status.
