The Midlothian Family YMCA is seeking enthusiastic community members for part-time lifeguard positions to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards. We offer certification for qualified candidates. The starting pay is $14.00 per hour.

DUTIES for Lifeguards

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the safety of members and program participants.

QUALIFICATIONS for Lifeguards

Candidates must be at least 15 years old and possess current CPR, AED, First Aid, and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred but not required. The YMCA will train interested candidates who meet basic swim requirements if not already certified.
