The City of Farmington Hills is hiring for a Lifeguard I position at the Farmington Aquatic Center. This temporary, part-time role involves ensuring the safety of pool users, performing lifesaving duties, and customer interactions. A strong commitment to safety and service is essential.
The ideal candidate must possess current Lifeguard and CPR certifications and be capable of performing various physical demands associated with the role. Flexible hours that include weekends are necessary.

HIRING RANGE: $15.00 per hour
TYPE OF POSITION: Temporary, Part-Time
DAYS WORKED: Varied to Include Weekends

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to swim, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be physically able to perform all rescue skills, including backboard rescue and deep-water lift.
