This part-time position offers an hourly rate of $14.00. The facility is seeking enthusiastic community members to help ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards (we will provide certification if you qualify). The shift is for the opening hours of the pool.
Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of members and program participants.
Applicants must be at least 15 years old and hold current CPR, AED, First Aid, and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred but not required. Candidates who meet basic swim requirements but are not certified will be trained by the YMCA.
