To provide lifeguard supervision for the swim sections of KIN 100 to ensure the safety of participating students.
Lifeguards will supervise the swimmers in the pool area and carry out emergency response procedures for swimmers in need. The lifeguard will report any issues or concerns to the class instructor. Lifeguard will be prepared for each class and report on time. It is the lifeguard's responsibility to undertake regular training as required for certification.
Must be a certified lifeguard and able to provide documentation of such.
Seeking coverage for 3 M/W classes:
10:20am-11:10am, 11:30am-12:20pm and 12:40pm-1:30pm
Potential to hire multiple people in order to cover all classes
Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate). Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
