Job Summary

The Recreational Sports Program is comprised of undergraduate students and professional interns that provide recreational opportunities for students to participate in while pursuing their educational endeavors. Student workers must be committed to maintaining a high level of performance on the job as well as adhere to a disciplinary code for the office and organization. Lifeguards work up to 15 hours per week, including nights and weekends. They report to the Professional Intern for CORE and the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation.

Basic Qualifications

• Be a full time Edinboro University Student (minimum of 12 credits)
• Be in good judicial standing with the university upon application
• Present a well-mannered and professional image
• Possess an extensive knowledge of campus programming
• First Aid/CPR/AED/Lifeguard certified

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining weekly pool hours
• Attending all staff meetings as called and fall training (week before school starts in August)
• Maintaining the office and all equipment
• Reporting all pool violations to the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation
• Working with the marketing chair to promote all events
• Keeping all files and equipment up to date and inventoried
• All other duties as assigned

Hours
