The Recreational Sports Program is comprised of undergraduate students and professional interns that provide recreational opportunities for students to participate in while pursuing their educational endeavors. Student workers must be committed to maintaining a high level of performance on the job as well as adhere to a disciplinary code for the office and organization. Lifeguards work up to 15 hours per week, including nights and weekends. They report to the Professional Intern for CORE and the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation.
Employees will develop customer service skills, self-confidence, a strong work ethic, taking responsibility for their actions, good social skills, additional computer skills, and working with a vast constituency of professionals.
Hours will be scheduled by the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation and are limited to 15 hours per week. Early morning, late mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends may be required.
