Job summary

The City of Cincinnati is seeking lifeguards for its city pools. You will supervise deep or shallow water facilities, ensure safety, and enforce rules while providing a positive, professional presence. Required are American Red Cross Lifeguard Training with First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED, plus being 15 years of age or older.

Qualifications

• Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training / First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED certifications.
• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Annual lifeguard water skills review and on-site pool training.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety, supervision and discipline of all persons using deep or shallow water pool facilities.
• Must be willing to work other than normal hours and be available as scheduled.
• Assist participants with disabilities as needed.
