Job summary

The Beach Pool & Tennis Club in Potomac, MD is hiring lifeguards/certified pool operators for the summer season. You will help ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for members and guests while upholding club standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring the pool, responding to emergencies, and maintaining clean facilities. Required certifications and flexible weekend/holiday availability are essential. Seasonal, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Valid lifeguard/pool operator certification (Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent).
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous lifeguard experience is a plus.

• Vigilantly scan the pool area and surrounding spaces.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including water rescues and first aid.

Join Our Team at The Beach Pool & Tennis Club!

We are a professional, dynamic sports club located in Potomac, MD, dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and energetic environment for our members. As we gear up for the summer season, we are looking for motivated and responsible individuals to join our team as lifeguards or certified pool operators.

Pay: $17.45 – $25.00 per hour

Dates: Memorial Day through Labor Day (May 24th – September 1st)

Location: The Beach Pool and Tennis Club - 10200 Gainsborough Rd, Potomac, MD

As a lifeguard/certified pool operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all pool guests while contributing to a positive club atmosphere.
