Job description

How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:

Responsible for continuously monitoring members' behavior to ensure safety at the outside/inside pool and spa at all times. Maintains standards of cleanliness and pool chemical balances. Notifies manager if any questions and/or problems arise.

1. Maintains cleanliness and enforces rules of outside/inside pool and spa area(s). Ensures all safety regulations are being adhered to for members' safety.
2. Checks on chemical balance of pools and spa.
3. Operates pumps: vacuum, backwash, and draining when needed.
4. Teaches swimming lessons when needed.
5. Wears proper uniform.
6. If unable to work a scheduled shift, follows proper procedure to find a replacement.

What We Require:

Education: Minimum two years high school education. Work permit required if under 18 years of age.

Experience: Six months previous lifeguard experience preferred.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Lifeguard, AHA BLS-HCP, and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire. Water Safety Instructor (WSI) preferred.
