Job summary

MGM Resorts International’s ARIA is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure a safe and luxurious poolside experience at a premier Las Vegas resort.

You will monitor water and deck areas, respond to emergencies, and assist guests with poolside needs while upholding safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old or older.
• Must be able to swim to obtain the Lifeguard certification.
• Availability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety by watching over water and deck areas and responding to emergency situations.
• Adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property.
• Report all guest and employee incidents/accidents to a supervisor and complete needed documentation.
• Direct guests to key locations in the property including emergency exits and procedures.
• Proactively greet and interact with guests, assist all guests with pool side needs including seating, towels, hours of operations, ADA requirements, amenities, directions and other needs.
• Respond and resolve guest needs in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties.
• Responsible for daily pool set-up and breakdown, cleaning, linen distribution and maintaining attentiveness to the environment to enhance guest experience.
