Job summary

MGM Resorts Signature is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain a safe, enjoyable poolside experience and to greet guests with a welcoming, service-oriented approach.

You will monitor water and deck areas, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with safety policies while helping guests with poolside needs and directions. This role offers an hourly wage with growth potential and access to employee perks.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old or older.
• Must be able to swim to complete Lifeguard certification if hired.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety by watching over water and deck areas and responding to emergency situations
• Adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property
• Report all guest and employee incidents/accidents to a supervisor and complete needed documentation
• Direct guests to key locations in the property including emergency exits and procedures
• Proactively greet and interact with guests, assist all guests with pool side needs to include seating, towels, hours of operations, ADA requirements, amenities, directions and other needs
• Respond and resolve guest needs in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties
• Responsible for daily pool set-up and breakdown, cleaning, linen distribution and maintaining attentiveness to the environment to enhance guest experience

THE JOB:

As a Lifeguard at Signature, you’ll help create a safe, relaxing, and memorable poolside experience at one of the Strip’s most desired resort destinations. With your welcoming smile and attentive service, you’ll ensure guest safety while setting the tone for exceptional hospitality. By taking ownership of the guest experience and responding with professionalism and care, you’ll help create WOW moments and lasting memories that extend far beyond each stay.

THE STARTING RATE:

$15.00 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
