Job summary

Collier County is hiring a Lifeguard to supervise aquatic facilities, ensure patron safety, and perform water quality checks. The role requires current Lifeguard, CPR, AED and First Aid certifications and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

At least 16 years old, you will work in a busy leisure environment, maintain safety rules, provide customer service, and assist with swim programming and facility upkeep as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be sixteen (16) years of age.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Lifeguard certification required.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and provide emergency life-saving services when needed.
• Prevent injuries by supervising pool area and ensuring safety rules are followed.
• Maintain water quality and report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Provide basic first aid and assist with injuries/accidents reporting.
• Instruct aquatic activities and assist with program curriculum as needed.
• Prepare and maintain facility for daily use and events.
