Job summary

Trails Park and Recreation District seeks a vigilant Lifeguard to monitor the aquatic facilities and respond to emergencies under supervision. You will enforce rules, supervise pool areas, and maintain facility cleanliness while upholding core safety standards and customer service.

The role requires StarGuard Lifeguard certification ( CPR/AED and First Aid ) and availability to work at least 10 hours per week. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for a positive patron experience.

Qualifications

• StarGuard Lifeguard certification with CPR/AED/First Aid.
• Available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Previous lifeguarding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively guards and scans the pool area during rotation.
• Responds to emergencies by activating the Emergency Action Plan.
• Enforces pool rules to prevent hazardous situations.
• Maintains and cleans aquatics facilities and equipment.
• Provides a welcoming environment for patrons and supports teamwork.
