Job summary

Trails Park and Recreation District seeks a daytime Lifeguard to oversee pool safety and respond to emergencies at our Centennial facility. The role requires maintaining vigilant supervision, enforcing rules, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Requirements include StarGuard Lifeguard certification with CPR/AED and First Aid, plus availability for daytime hours Monday through Friday. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany the position.

Responsibilities

• Actively guards and scans the pool area during rotation.
• Responds to emergencies using the Emergency Action Plan.
• Enforces pool rules and internal policies to keep patrons and staff safe.
• Maintains and cleans aquatics facilities and equipment.
• Maintains lifeguard certification and attends required trainings.
• Creates a welcoming environment for patrons.
