Job summary

Panorama Aquatic and Fitness Center in Lacey, WA is seeking a qualified lifeguard for a part-time and temporary role. You will work about 16-20 hours per week, keeping pool, deck, and surrounding areas safe while offering courteous, professional service.

Qualifications

Panorama's Aquatic and Fitness Center is searching for a qualified Lifeguard to fill a part-time and temporary role!

This position will work approximately 16-20 hours per week.

This is a great opportunity to be part of team involved in protecting the safety and well-being of each Panorama resident while providing courteous, friendly and professional assistance. Our lifeguards maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Protect the safety of Panorama residents and guest by using the Ellis or American Red Cross Lifeguarding guidelines
• Apply all rules and regulations consistently
• Coordinate emergency procedures and/or provide First Aid and CPR in emergency situations
• Maintain positive relations and rapport with residents
• Perform general maintenance/custodial functions as required

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid required.
• Current Ellis or American Red Cross Shallow Water Lifeguard Training Certification required
• Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness.
• Must be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly in an emergency
