Lifeguard & Swim Instructor
Part-Time and On-Call Positions Available

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

The Salvation Army’s Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center is hiring and offers the following benefits to part-time employees:

Qualifications:

• American Red Cross Certification in Lifeguard and CPR/AED/FA for the Professional Rescuer
• Willingness to complete Park Lifeguarding course
• Meet The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center of Boston skill standards
• Dependable, alert, and able to positively interact with people of all ages and backgrounds
• American Red Cross Certification Water Safety Instructor
• Experience as a certified lifeguard and instructor
• Ability to work in an office/pool environment with diverse professional staff
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and desktop software
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Lifeguard Instructor and Water Safety Instructor Certifications
• Water Exercise Instructor Certification
• Ability to instruct diverse groups of learners

The Lifeguard & Swim Instructor is responsible for patron safety, teaching water fitness, swim lessons, and private lessons.
