Job summary

Alliance Family YMCA is seeking qualified lifeguards for the Alliance location. Candidates must be at least 15 years old with current YMCA/Red Cross lifeguarding, BLS CPR and First Aid, or willing to be trained.

The role includes an opener shift at 5:15am, Monday through Friday, and offers a starting wage of $12.00 with pay commensurate with experience. Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Lifeguard certification from YMCA or Red Cross or willingness to be trained.
• Current BLS CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attend mandatory in-service trainings.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Be rescue ready at all times during shift.
