Job description

Join our team this summer at High Sierra Pools! We are currently hiring lifeguards, pool managers, and area lifeguards in the Chelmsford area. Our certified lifeguards earn some of the highest rates in the industry!

If you have good swimming skills and want a fun summer job where you can make a difference, this is for you. We offer flexible schedules, including full-time, part-time, and weekend-only shifts.

Lifeguard Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Open and close the pool daily as per schedule
  2. Manage pool chemicals responsibly
  3. Monitor pool activities and ensure safety
  4. Assist swimmers in dangerous situations
  5. Keep an eye on weather conditions for guest safety
  6. Organize and supervise pool parties
  7. Provide swim lessons and coach swim teams if applicable
  8. Maintain a clean pool environment
Skills and Qualifications
  1. Valid Lifeguarding/First Aid, CPR-AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications
  2. Minimum age of 16
  3. At least two years of lifeguard experience
  4. Current ARC certification
  5. Shallow Water lifeguarding certification
  6. Positive attitude and problem-solving skills
  7. Dependability and reliability
  8. Ability to pass a pre-employment in-water skills test
  9. Experience coaching swim teams and teaching lessons
  10. Ability to pass background and drug tests if required
