Job description

Applicants will be required to work outside in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol areas and observe activities; enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Assist with the rescue of helpless swimmers; administer first aid and apply resuscitation measures when necessary.
• Keep first aid supplies and resuscitation equipment ready for instant use.
• May give swimming instructions.
• May assist in the preparation of accident reports.

Other duties as required.

NASSAU COUNTY LIFEGUARD & CPR CERTIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
