Knollwood Country Club is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for a part-time Lifeguard. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Lifeguard:

1. Supervise and observe swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
2. Administer first aid for minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises.
3. Maintain cleanliness and amenities in changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers.
4. Assist in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons as directed by the department manager.
5. Enforce rules of conduct.
6. Perform pool maintenance, including checking chemicals and vacuuming.
7. Check and report supplies needed for first aid.
8. Organize and monitor pool games; suggest poolside activities.
9. Skim debris from the pool surface and clean the area at day's end.
10. Maintain necessary records as required by the department manager.
11. Follow safe work practices at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least two (2) years of lifeguarding experience.
• CPR, First Aid, and Water Safety/Instructor Certifications.

Other Qualifications:

• Reliable attendance.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and health codes.
