Job description

Cobblestone Creek Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a part-time Lifeguard. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. Pay Range: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Lifeguard:

• Supervise and observe swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
• Administer first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.
• Maintain amenities and cleanliness of changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers.
• Assist in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by the department manager.
• Enforce rules of conduct.
• Perform pool maintenance, including checking chemicals and vacuuming the pool.
• Check first aid supplies and report needed items to management promptly.
• Organize and monitor pool games at all times; suggest poolside games.
• Skim bugs and debris from the surface to prepare the pool for daily use; empty the automatic skimmer.
• Clean up and organize the pool area at the end of the day.
• Maintain all necessary records as determined by the department manager.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.

Minimum Qualifications for the Lifeguard:

• Minimum of two (2) years of lifeguarding experience.
• CPR, First Aid Certification, and various Water Safety/Instructor Certifications required.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.
