Colonial Country Club is seeking responsible and safety-conscious Lifeguards to oversee the pool area, ensuring the well-being of all members and guests. Lifeguards will enforce pool rules, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean and safe aquatic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules to prevent accidents.
• Provide immediate response to any emergency situations, including water rescues and administering first aid or CPR if needed.
• Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and surrounding areas.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with members and guests.
• Assist with pool maintenance, including chemical level checks and cleanliness of the pool deck and facilities.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and emergency drills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Pool Manager or Club Management.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent) required.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required.
• Strong swimming skills and ability to remain alert for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous lifeguarding experience.
• Knowledge of pool operations and safety regulations.
• Experience working with children and families.

Background check and drug screen required.
