Job Description

PAID Lifeguard Certification Training. $200 sign-on bonus.

This position is a part-time, year-round role.

• Provide active scanning of the pool independently or as marked by your zone of protection in coordination with other facility lifeguards. Ensure professionalism and rescue readiness at all times.
• Assist with swim testing to ensure non-swimmers are marked and aware of safety guidelines.
• Test water for chemical balance, record results, and report issues immediately to supervisor.
• Follow daily maintenance schedules, including hosing the deck, cleaning pool walls, and safety equipment checks. Report problems or suggestions for improvement.
• Attend mandatory monthly in-services and staff meetings.

Requirements:

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification preferred; training available at hire.
• Willing to become lifeguard certified at hire.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy weights, and set up/break down equipment.
• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Flexible schedule.
• Physical prerequisites: swim 100 yards, tread water for 2 minutes, retrieve 10 lb. brick from depth.
• Vision of 20/20 or 20/40.
