Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard in Minnesota to monitor pools, ensure safety, and assist with events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza. The role blends safety focus with strong customer service in a fast-paced club environment.

Responsibilities include greeting members, rescuing swimmers in danger, administering first aid, maintaining a clean pool area, and advising guests about hazards. Requirements: HS diploma or GED in progress, StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS/First Aid, and

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $14.25 and pays up to $17.00, based on experience and qualifications.
