Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs in Red Bank, NJ is seeking a Lifeguard to oversee pool operations, maintain a safe environment for swimming, learning and play, and respond quickly to emergencies.

The role requires current Lifeguard certification, CPR and First Aid, ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays, and a collaborative approach to team safety. Training is available and employee discounts apply.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard Certification is required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant watch of the water and pool area.
• Enforce rules and procedures.
• Keep pool and pool area clean and safe.
• Use equipment as assigned.
• Help record/maintain pool chemical readings.
• Open and close pool.
• Quickly perform and demonstrate emergency procedures.
• Maintain equipment, pool and equipment storage areas.

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pool and providing a safe environment to swim, learn, and play!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain constant watch of the water and pool area

• Quickly perform and demonstrate emergency procedures
