Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help oversee our state-of-the-art pools, both indoor and outdoor. You will monitor the pool deck, assist with aquatics events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza, and ensure guest safety and excellent service for Members.

Qualified candidates will be pursuing a high school diploma or GED, hold StarGuard Elite Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid, and be able to swim 300 yards, tread water, and lift 20 lbs as needed. This is an hourly role with up to $19/hour.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first).
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.

You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as "Dive in Movies" & "Poolapalooza."

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.00 and pays up to $19.00, based on experience and qualifications.
