Job summary

Life Time in Texas is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard who is safety minded and customer service oriented. You will monitor state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, indoor and outdoor, oversee the pool deck, and support water slide safety and club events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

You will greet members, perform rescues and first aid when needed, enforce safe swim areas, keep the pool area clean, and help with member inquiries about Life Time products and services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from bottom of pool to the top.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as "Dive in Movies" & " Poolapalooza."

• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1 st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience
